1. Not found in time
Clivia is not as delicate as other plants. Whether it is dry or wet, it will not show in appearance. Like many flower friends, they are usually very busy and have no time to manage. When they are free, they find that the leaves of Clivia fall off at a touch. When they pull them out, they see that the roots are rotten. This situation is certainly not caused in one day or two. It takes a long time to show in the appearance of the plant, so we should find it as soon as possible and deal with it as soon as possible.
2. Regular basin change
In fact, it’s easy to breed Clivia because the plants are cold and drought resistant, so they don’t need to be watered and fertilized frequently, and they don’t need to take special warm keeping measures in winter. In winter, there are beautiful flowers blooming, which is really obedient. However, if the curing method is improper, it is also most likely to cause problems. Under normal circumstances, the pot of Clivia should be changed regularly once a year. In combination with loosening soil, watering, and reasonable fertilization, it can not only prevent the soil from hardening, but also avoid affecting the plant growth due to the limitation of the pot.
3. Rational watering
It is easier to water Clivia. In spring, autumn and summer, water is a little more, usually once every half a month. In winter, the plant grows slowly, so watering is easier. The root system of Clivia is sensitive to water. Generally, except for regular watering in summer, watering in other seasons depends on the soil. If the soil is dry, it will not be watered. Fertilization before flowering should be combined with watering to help absorb fertilizer and increase plant growth speed.
